About the place
The Church of the Three Graces is located on the red tourist trail that connects Valtice with Lednice and continues to the Novomlýnské reservoirs. The interior is not open to the public as the monument is privately owned. There is a small parking lot next to the church, which can be freely accessed from the main road from Hlohovec. There is also a refreshment stand nearby. The three Graces are named Aglaia, Euphrosyne and Thalia - these are the goddesses of beauty and grace. The sculpture originally stood in the park of the castle in Lednice and was moved to the colonnade after its completion in 1825. The colonnade contains a salon with a mosaic floor. It is shaped like a semicircular gallery supported by twelve Ionic columns.
