About the place

The station building, near the Posttoren ceramic works, was built at the beginning of the 20th century. The station building type 16/H was intended for the more important stations of the local railways. Its importance is also evidenced by the former ceramic factories, from which building materials were imported to Vienna and, of course, to the surroundings of Breclav. The station is currently in operation only in the summer season, when motor and steam trains pass through on weekends on the route Břeclav - Lednice.
