Lednice Rybníky train stop

About the place

The unique and rare railway stop is located on the railway line No. 247 between Breclav and Lednice. The originality lies in its location, right between the Lednice ponds in the middle of nowhere. Although it may seem that it is an old local line, during the tourist season there is a regular operation of historical motor trains Hurvínek and also steam trains led by the locomotive Šlechtična. Next to the line there is an important hiking trail leading from Lednice to Nové Dvůr. There is a bird sanctuary and a swing hanging on a tree branch.
