About the place
The imposing Havlíček Villa was built in 1901-1902 according to the design of the Liechtenstein court architect Karl Weinbrenner. Since 2021, it has been managed by the Moravian Beauty Foundation, which named it after the merchant, patriot and former mayor of the village Alois Havlíček and turned the building into a modern gallery and cultural venue by sensitively renovating the interior. The remarkable three-storey house is used by the Moravian Beauty Foundation for its activities: exhibitions, workshops, courses and social events.

Local Tips
Availability
Havlíčkův Villa offers convenient parking directly in the courtyard. It is worth planning your arrival on a weekday, when the car park is emptier. Otherwise, you can leave your car around the corner opposite the church. Even visitors who arrive by bus can easily do so - the bus stop is right in front of the villa. It is possible to pay in cash or by card at the villa.
Gallery café
In the summer of 2022, a stylish gallery café was opened in Havlíček's Villa, where you can enjoy delicious coffee and small snacks and perhaps read one of the freely available books. You can also buy souvenirs from the Moravian Beauty Foundation in the café with the theme of traditions such as blueprint or ornament.
Possibility to rent
The premises of Havlíček Villa with the genius loci from the Liechtenstein era are perfectly suited for an exhibition, a lecture, a conference, a corporate meeting, teambuilding, training, wine tasting, a birthday party or a concert. The well-preserved attic with a footbridge, from where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Pálava, and the spacious garden are also accessible.
