Bell tower adjacent to the church
About the place
The Baroque bell tower was built in 1756-62 and stands a few metres away from St. Margaret's Church, which has a bell from 1760 cast in Mikulov and a small dying bell. The baroque copper tower was completed in 1765. Today there are monumentally protected - artistically significant, early Baroque statues - St. John of Nepomuk, St. Vendelin, the Holy Trinity and St. Florian. They originally stood in the village and are symbolic for the patron saint of shepherds, protection of cattle and protection of buildings from fire.
